Who You’re Dealing With
Agreeing To These Terms
1. Who you're dealing with
The Cynergy Collective is operated by Cynthia Collins, based in Australia.
THE CYNERGY COLLECTIVE · [ABN once issued] · 1 NORMAN STREET, LAKE CONJOLA, NSW, AUSTRALIA
Contact: contact@the-cynergy-collective.com
In these terms, "I" and "me" means The Cynergy Collective. "You" means you.
2. Agreeing to these terms
By using this website, joining the waitlist, or buying anything from me, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't buy anything, and that's a perfectly reasonable choice.
You need to be 18 or over.
3. WHAT I SELL
Start A Business For Real This Time (SABFRTT): a 10-week live cohort program
The Coaching Room: a monthly group coaching subscription for graduates
Free resources: Where Do I Start?, The AuDHD Business Brief, and anything else given away
This is business education. It is not coaching regulated by any professional body, and it is not a qualification.
4. APPLICATIONS & PLACES
SABFRTT runs by application.
Joining the waitlist costs nothing and guarantees nothing.
Waitlist members receive the application on Black Friday 2026. Applications stay open for one week.
I read every application myself and choose twelve people for the founding cohort.
I will respond to every applicant within ten business days of applications closing.
You are not charged unless you're offered a place and accept it.
I can decline any application without giving a reason. I will not decline anyone on the basis of a protected attribute.
Your place is confirmed when payment clears, not when you're offered it.
5. PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices are in US dollars.
The founding cohort price is $997 USD. The standard price after the founding cohort is $1,888 USD.
The Coaching Room is $97 USD per month for founding graduates for six months, then $147 USD per month.
Payment is processed by Stripe through Squarespace. I never see your full card details.
Your bank may charge a currency conversion or international transaction fee. That fee is between you and your bank.
[GST: confirm with your accountant whether GST registration applies and whether it applies to overseas customers, then state the position here.]
Prices can change for future cohorts. The price you paid is the price you paid.
6. WHAT YOU GET
For SABFRTT:
Ten modules, released one per week for ten weeks
Weekly live working calls, recorded and available as replays
Templates, worksheets, calculators, scripts and checklists as the build requires them
Access to the Cynergy Guide, the in-course AI assistant
Access to the student community space for the duration of the cohort
[ACCESS PERIOD: state exactly how long students keep access to materials after the cohort ends. This is currently unanswered and it needs a number.]
The cohort runs Monday 1 February 2027 to Sunday 11 April 2027.
7. WHAT I ASK OF YOU
Show up as you're able. Attendance is not compulsory and replays exist.
You never have to turn on a camera, speak aloud, or explain why you need something.
Do the work. I can give you the sequence and the instructions. I can't do the building for you.
Treat other students decently.
8. COMMUNITY RULES
The community space exists so people can be honest without performing. So:
What's shared in the community stays in the community.
No pitching, recruiting or selling to other students.
No harassment, no abuse, no bigotry of any kind.
Disagree with ideas as much as you like. Don't go after people.
I can remove anyone from the community for breaking these rules. Serious or repeated breaches may mean removal from the program without a refund.
9. AI TOOLS
The Cynergy Guide and Where Do I Start? run on third-party AI (currently OpenAI).
They can be wrong. AI generates plausible text, which is not the same as correct text. Check anything that matters.
Don't put confidential or sensitive information into them. What you type goes to the AI provider under their terms, not mine.
They are there to help you make progress, not to make decisions for you.
Availability depends on the provider. If it goes down, that's outside my control.
10. RECORDINGS
Live calls are recorded so people who miss them can catch up.
Recordings go to enrolled students only.
You are never required to appear on camera or speak. Participating by chat is a full, equal way to take part.
Don't share, download or repost recordings outside the cohort.
11. WHAT’S MINE AND WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH IT
All course materials, worksheets, templates, videos, frameworks and written content are my intellectual property.
You may: use everything inside your own business, forever. Fill in the templates. Adapt the scripts. Build your business on the frameworks. That's what they're for.
You may not: share, sell, republish, or give away the materials. Don't post them in other communities. Don't use them to teach a competing course. Don't feed them into an AI to spin up your own version.
What you make is yours. Your business, your offer, your copy, your website, everything you build during the course belongs entirely to you. I claim nothing.
12. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
This matters, so it's in plain words.
I do not guarantee that you will make any particular amount of money, sign any particular number of clients, or make money at all.
I guarantee the structure, the sequence, the instructions and the support. What you get out of it depends on your work, your offer, your market, your timing, your capacity, and a fair amount of luck. Anyone in this industry who promises you a figure is either guessing or lying.
Any example, case study or number I mention is what happened for that person. It is not a promise about you.
13. WHAT THIS IS NOT
This is business education. It is not:
Legal advice
Tax or accounting advice
Financial or investment advice
Medical, psychological, psychiatric or therapeutic advice or treatment
I talk about AuDHD from lived experience and research, not as a clinician. Nothing here diagnoses, treats or manages any condition. For legal, tax, financial or health matters, get a qualified professional.
14. REFUNDS
Covered in full in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Short version: complete Module 1, and if it isn't what I described, you get every dollar back. Nothing in that policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
15. IF YOU CAN’T CONTINUE
Life happens.
You can stop at any time. See the Refund Policy for what that means financially.
If you need to pause, email me. The course has a Safe Pause and Restart process and reduced-capacity routes, and using them costs you nothing.
If you go quiet, I may check in once. That's care, not surveillance, and you can tell me to leave you be.
16. IF I HAVE TO CHANGE OR CANCEL
I may adjust the schedule, the running order or the delivery of a live call. The ten-week structure and the promised outcomes don't change.
If I have to cancel a cohort before it starts, you get a full refund or a place in the next one, your choice.
If serious illness or an emergency stops me delivering mid-cohort, I'll reschedule affected sessions or refund the portion not delivered.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in this section limits, excludes or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any consumer law that applies where you live. Those guarantees cannot be contracted out of, and I'm not trying to.
Subject to that:
I'm not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, or lost opportunity.
Where liability can lawfully be limited, my total liability is capped at the amount you paid me in the twelve months before the claim.
I'm not liable for decisions you make in your own business based on what you learned here.
I'm not liable for failures of third-party platforms (Squarespace, Stripe, OpenAI, video platforms, your internet).
18. THING’S OUTSIDE ANYONE’S CONTROL
I'm not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control: natural disaster, war, pandemic, government action, power or internet failure, or platform outage. If something like that hits, I'll tell you, and I'll reschedule rather than disappear.
19. YOUR PRIVACY
Covered in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
20. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
The course uses Squarespace, Stripe, OpenAI and [VIDEO PLATFORM]. You'll need to accept their terms to use them. I don't control them and I'm not responsible for what they do.
Links to other websites are not endorsements.
21. ENDING YOUR ACCESS
I can suspend or end your access if you:
Share or resell course materials
Harass or abuse another student or me
Charge back a payment without contacting me first
Break these terms in a serious or repeated way
I'll tell you why. Where the problem can be fixed, I'll say what fixing it looks like before I remove access.
22. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
I can update these terms. The version in force when you buy is the version that governs your purchase. If I make a material change affecting current students, I'll email you.
23. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia. Disputes go to the courts of NSW, Australia.
If you're a consumer somewhere else, this doesn't remove protections you have under your own local law that can't be contracted out of.
24. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Email me first: contact@the-cynergy-collective.com
I would rather sort it out directly than have either of us dealing with lawyers or banks. Most problems are a misunderstanding and take one honest email to fix.
If we can't resolve it between us, we'll try mediation before anyone starts formal proceedings.
25. THE REST OF THE LEGAL FURNITURE
Entire agreement: these terms, plus the Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us.
Severability: if a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest still stands.
No waiver: if I don't enforce something once, I haven't given up the right to enforce it.
Assignment: you can't transfer your place to someone else without my written agreement.
